Hannah Maness and Michael Podolsky, both of Sycamore, were married Sept. 29, 2012, at an outdoor ceremony in Sycamore.
Daughter of Perry and Jeanne Maness of Sycamore, the bride is a 2008 graduate of Sycamore High School and is employed as first assistant manager at Maurices in DeKalb.
Son of Nancy and Mike Plumley of Elkader, Iowa, and Brian and Shelly Podolsky of Dubuque, Iowa, the groom is a 2005 graduate of Genoa High School and 2007 graduate of Highland Community College. He is employed as warehouse manager of Sears Hometown Store.
The maid of honor was Rebecca Maness of Sycamore, sister of the bride, and the matron of honor was Kelsey Roach of Davis Junction, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were friends of the bride Kasey Kasmel of Sycamore and Nikki Pynenberg of Cortland, sister of the groom Jessica Podolsky of Golden, Colo., and sister-in-law of the bride Paige Halstead. Flower girl was Claira Roach, niece of the bride.
The best man was friend of the groom Josh Peteris of Sycamore.
Groomsmen were friends of the groom Josh Svec of Scamore, Jimmy Sharpf of Broomfield, Colo., Michael Scholer of Denver, Kevin Muchie of Galena, and brother of the bride Logan Halstead. Ring bearer was Cole Roach, nephew of the bride.
A reception was held at St. Mary’s Hall in Sycamore, and a wedding trip was taken to Fort Myers, Fla., with a cruise to Key West.
The couple resides in Sycamore.
Sharon and Rick Jourdain of Malta announce the engagement of their daughter, Suzanne, to Landon Rosenik, both of Cortland.
Suzanne is a 2007 graduate of Indian Creek High School, Shabbona, and a 2009 graduate of Kishwaukee College, where she received an Associate of Arts degree. She received a bachelor’s degree in English from Northern Illinois University in 2012. Suzanne is employed at ResourceBooks Publishing in Naperville where she is completing an internship as an editorial assistant. She also is employed at Barnes & Noble in DeKalb as a sales consultant.
Landon, son of April and Richard Rosenik of Miami, Fla., graduated from South Dade Senior High School in Miami in 2007, and attended Miami-Dade College and Kishwaukee College. He is the culinary manager at Ruby Tuesday in DeKalb.
The wedding is planned for July 13, 2013, at The Clock Tower Resort in Rockford.
Bill and Julenne Davey of Sycamore announce the engagement of their son, Drewe Davey, to Kevie Muchow, daughter of Jim and Kevil Muchow of Palatine. An August wedding is planned.
Drewe, a 2003 graduate of Sycamore High School, received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Wheaton College in 2007. He received a master’s degree from the American College of Education in 2011. Drewe is employed as a fifth-grade teacher with the Sycamore School District.
Kevie, a 2003 graduate of Palatine High School, received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from the University of Iowa in 2007. She received a master’s degree in literacy education from Northern Illinois University in 2012. Kevie is employed as a reading specialist with Sycamore School District.
