Spring rummage sale scheduled at FUMC

The youth at First United Methodist Church of DeKalb will host a rummage sale to help raise money for this summer’s mission trip to Detroit and other activities.

The sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 3 and 4 at the church at 321 Oak St., DeKalb.

The group is taking donations for the sale. Items can be dropped off between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Christian Education Office, second floor of the Education wing.

All donated items need to be in good, clean, working condition. The following items will be accepted: clothes, children’s games and toys, small house items, books, shelves, small electronics, crafts, antiques, small furniture, sporting equipment, decorations, frames, linens, etc.
