Bowl-a-thon to raise money for local club

DeKALB – Ideal Industries employees and their corporate sponsors expect to raise more than $12,000 for Junior Achievement at a bowl-a-thon May 9.

The event starts at 6 p.m. and will include several local businesses at Mardi Gras Lanes, 1730 Sycamore Road, DeKalb.

Junior Achievement tries to give young people the knowledge and skills they need for economic success, planning for their future and making smart economic and academic choices. It involves students from kindergarten through high school.
