Cortland student earns honor at North Central

Adam Doden, son of Gary and Lorraine Doden of Cortland, was awarded the Outstanding Major in Exercise Science Award during Honors Day at North Central College in Naperville.

A senior, Doden is majoring in exercise science with minors in psychology and wellness at North Central College. He is a graduate of DeKalb High School.

A student veteran and former U.S. Marine, Doden transferred to North Central to prepare for a career in strength and conditioning. He has accepted a full-time position as facility manager at Players Indoor Sports in Naperville.

His name has regularly appeared on the Dean’s List.
