NIU's Threloff named All-MAC Honorable Mention

Northern Illinois junior center and DeKalb High School graduate Jordan Threloff was named All-Mid-American Conference Honorable Mention on Monday.

Threloff is averaging 9.1 points and 6.8 rebounds per game and has appeared in all 30 games this season, including 24 starts. Threloff has scored in double figures 12 times this season, including nine of the final 14 games of the regular season.

Freshman Aaric Armstead was also named to the league's All-Freshman team. Armstead is averaging 7.5 points and 3.9 rebounds per contest.

NIU has a 14-16 record on the year, a nine-win increase from the previous season, tying the school record for the largest single-season improvement.
